Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)

  • 1 large white onion (cut into ½-inch rings)

  • ½ cup dill pickles, finely chopped

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or American cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ cup Big Mac sauce (or DIY: mayo, ketchup, mustard, sweet relish)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1½ cups crushed chips or panko breadcrumbs

  • Cooking oil for frying or spray oil for air frying

Instructions

  • Prepare the Onion Rings:
Slice the onion into ½-inch thick rings and separate them. Lay them on a tray.

  • Mix the Filling:
In a bowl, combine ground beef, pickles, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Fill the Rings:
Stuff each onion ring with the beef mixture. Gently press to hold the shape. Freeze for 10–15 minutes.

  • Bread the Chips:
Set up three bowls — flour, beaten eggs, and crushed chips. Coat each ring: flour → egg → chips.

  • Fry or Air Fry:

    • Deep Fry: Heat oil to 350°F and fry rings until golden (2–3 min).

    • Air Fry: Spray with oil and cook at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.

  • Serve:
Drizzle with Big Mac sauce or serve it on the side for dipping. Enjoy hot and crispy!
